Melanie P. Goolsby

Melanie P. Goolsby is a member of Pronske Goolsby & Kathman, PC. Ms. Goolsby practices in the areas of commercial bankruptcy, personal bankruptcy, and bankruptcy litigation and appeals. She has been selected as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star for the past four years and has served the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers as a co-chair of the Equal Access to Justice Committee and a member of the DAYL Leadership Class of 2013. Ms. Goolsby is also a member of the Honorable John C. Ford American Inn of Court, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Dallas Association of Young Bankruptcy Lawyers. In addition to her professional work, Ms. Goolsby has volunteered as a personal budget coach through the Finance & Career Care Ministry at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas and currently serves as the Chair of the Executive Committee at St. Andrew.

Ms. Goolsby received a B.S. in Economics, summa cum laude, in 2003 from Louisiana Tech University and an M.B.A. with a Finance concentration from Louisiana Tech University in 2004. She received her J.D. and B.C.L. from the Louisiana State University Law Center in 2007, where she was on the Board of Editors for the Louisiana Law Review.
