Gerrit M. Pronske received his B.A. and his J.D. from Texas Tech University.  Mr. Pronske was a law clerk to Chief Bankruptcy Judge Robert C. McGuire,  1983-1984.  He is a frequent speaker and author on the subject of “Recent Developments in Bankruptcy” and is the author of Pronske’s Texas Bankruptcy, Annotated 2017 (currently in its 17th edition) published by American law Media/Texas Lawyer.  He is past Chairman of the Dallas Bankruptcy Bar Association and past Chairman of the Bankruptcy Section of the Federal Bar Assocation.  He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the John C. Ford Chapter of the American Inn of Court.
